Rules of Export of Commemorative Coins and Commemorative Banknotes
of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus

Natural persons are permitted to export from the customs territory of the Customs Union commemorative coins from precious metals that are legal tender in the Republic of Belarus and are intended for personal use free of any limitations as to the quantity and value.

Natural persons are authorized to export from the customs territory of the Customs Union commemorative coins from precious metals that are legal tender in the Republic of Belarus and are intended for personal use within the customs value* not exceeding USD25,000 free of customs payments.

Natural persons are permitted to export from the customs territory of the Customs Union commemorative coins from non-precious metals that are legal tender in the Republic of Belarus:

  • the customs value* of which does not exceed USD10,000 – free of obligatory declaration; and
  • the customs value* of which exceeds USD10,000 – with obligatory declaration.

Natural persons are not permitted to enclose commemorative coins from precious and non-precious metals that are legal tender in the Republic of Belarus in letters and other types of international mail.

* Customs value is determined based on the commemorative coins' value declared by the natural person and confirmed by original documents bearing information on the commemorative coins' value. If the information on the commemorative coins' value is missing in the documents or the documents are not available, the customs value of the commemorative coins shall be determined by the customs official.
